Rural Solutions SA is contracted to Adelaide Blue Gum Pty Ltd (ABL) to develop and manage plantations of Tasmanian Blue Gum across the Mount Lofty Ranges region.

ABL is an Australian company with 7 Japanese shareholders, including 2 major paper mills. The aim of the project is to establish a sustainable and commercially viable hardwood plantation industry for the supply of wood fibre to the paper mills for the manufacture of high quality printing paper.

Rural Solutions SA consultants provide technical support on:

• land assessment and acquisition (purchase, lease or sharefarm);
• preparation of Development Applications for approval by local council
• preparation of Forest Property Agreements to secure rights to harvest and rights to carbon;
• plantation establishment, maintenance and protection;
