The revamped site combines introductions with printable info sheets, project case studies, the ‘Solutions’ newsletter and video clips which take you into the heart of operations.

The site shows the types of rural programs and services relevant to primary industry businesses, rural communities and natural resource managers.

Rural Solutions SA is a business owned by the South Australian Government and an accredited Registered Training Organisation.

In the opening video, Rural Solutions SA Executive Director, Locky McLaren, explains the focus of his team – “highly connected practical consultants who want to make a real difference, delivering on the ground solutions for our customers.”

One of its principal driving forces is to strengthen regional communities by enhancing primary industry competitiveness and integrating natural resource management to become standard business practice.

“We know the drought has hit rural South Australia hard, and we are very keen to contribute positively to the immediate response and longer-term strategies,” Mr McLaren said.

“We are program managers and trainers.  We provide laboratory testing services and offer guidance on quality assurance and environmental management.”
