Rural Solutions SA goes local on environment

With the environment becoming daily more important – and solutions sought for many issues, Rural Solutions SA is undertaking a major drive to develop opportunities with Local Government.

Local environmental problems need local responses and these need to be found with the involvement and approval of local communities.

Rural Solutions SA will have a strong presence at the national Local Government Sustainable Development Conference in Melbourne in September 11th-12th.

This is a gathering of some 200 local government and other delegates who will be there to discuss better ways to manage the environment while enabling their communities and council areas to develop positively.

Rural Solutions SA will be on show at the conference with a trade display and three staff members (Michy Kris, Wayne Brown and Michael Head) to explain the services we can provide and the skills we can bring to bear on their environmental problems.

Rural Solutions SA has recently moved to consolidate its environmental expertise in a new team combining the necessary skills to deliver a wide range of solutions anywhere in the State or to councils in other parts of Australia.

To coincide with this, the consultancy has created an invaluable information booklet, Environmental Solutions – positive environmental impact, which will be available to Local Government officers and elected officials.
