Are you looking for guidance to manage the natural resources on your lifestyle property? You might like to join a series of workshops being held in Pt Lincoln from June 5th by Eyre Peninsula Natural Resources Management Board and Rural Solutions SA.

These land management workshops cover caring for water resources, soils, native vegetation, as well as enterprise selection and planning for your property.

The workshop series consists of three theory based workshops and one farm walk, with the opportunity for each landholder to utilise an individual property visit to develop a Property Report.

During April, workshops were held in Tumby Bay.  Participants developed their skills in land management and with the guidance of Rural Solutions consultants, planned how they would achieve their goals for their properties over the next 10 years. An individual aerial photograph is provided for planning so landholders can visualise their goals.

Workshops include technical advice from various consultants from both Rural Solutions and EPNRM. Landholders attending workshops are given the opportunity to apply for a $1000 grant for on-ground works on their property. The cost of the workshop series is $150 (per property).
