Help Wanted!
PIRSA Forestry would like to hear from any grower who is interested in participating in a research trial to investigate establishment techniques to improve Allocasuarina leuhmannii (buloke) and Eucalyptus microcarpa (grey box) tube stock survival and growth.
Two trial sites are needed, one in the Bordertown area and the other in the Frances area. The size of each trial is 1.7 hectares, with dimensions of 70m wide by 225 long.
There is funding money to pay for fencing equipment, site preparation. All spraying and planting will be done by PIRSA Forestry.
All the landowner is required to do is supply the land for the trial and erect the fence.
Any sites that would have been covered in buloke and grey box historically will be considered if they meet the size requirements.
