SARDI will deliver a series of workshops around the State to help farmers plan for the changing climate.
SARDI senior climate applications researcher Melissa Rebbeck said that increasingly growers were exploring how to make business decisions that reduced their exposure to risk from climate extremes.
"The one-day workshops will be a forum for learning and exploring how to deal with and adapt to climate impacts," she said.
"Decisions about crop choices, variety selection and management of the crop, feed supply, water usage and more will be discussed using current and new tools and services that the presenters will supply. Growers will learn about climate change and climate trends and how to adapt to them."
These workshops will be held all aroung the state. One of these workshops will be held at, Penola on Tuesday March 25th, Opportunities are available to book a workshop in your location.
