e-newsletter edition 5, May 2008

Welcome

We are glad to be back in the office again after a busy start to the year at Field Days ... we sincerely hope that the recent rains have been sufficient to enable most primary producers to commence seeding for the coming season.

Those of you who have been waiting on the updated/revised edition of the Insects Ute Guide and the reprint of the Weeds Ute Guide will be pleased to hear that at long last they are available for purchase once again both at the previous price of $27.50.

Tractor working the ground up ready for seeding.

The second edition of the CFS Map Book for Mount Lofty (now called Emergency Services Map Series) is once again available also. The CFS Map Books are all in the process of being updated and this has now been taken over by Dept. of Environment & Heritage, rather than the CFS themselves.

The 2008 Spray Charts will soon be available for sale from the Information Centre and your local Rural Solutions SA office - the cost this year has increased slightly to $7.50 per chart, you can call us on 1800 356 446 to order your copy OR keep checking the online shop as we will add them to the list as soon as we have them on hand.

Regards,  Lisa and Nicky.
