Crop Guard is a farm chemicals database program that simplifies finding control product information for weeds, insect pests and crop diseases.

The data is primarily tailored to South Australian farming conditions and covers a range of common weeds, insects and diseases that could be a problem in cropping enterprises.

Agricultural chemical treatment options can be referenced and in many cases multiple products will be listed. The user can assess this information in view of crop rotations, the potential for build-up of chemical resistance on the property and price and availability of individual products.

The software also includes pictorial guides to assist in the identification of crop weeds and insect pests.

Crop Guard draws its information from the annual crop and pasture spray charts prepared by the Field Crop Consultants of Rural Solutions SA.

Annual updates to the software are offered to registered users at a discount.
