This AQF Level 2 course provides training in the safe use of chemicals using non-powered application equipment.  This training is relevant to entry-level students, trainees, school groups and domestic users.
Usually a one-day course (flexibility can be provided upon RTO approval)
Who should do this course?  A person who applies chemicals under supervision with hand-held, non-powered equipment.  This course is also suitable for people who have some difficulty reading labels or doing calibration calculations

Learn how to:

• Locate information on labels and material safety data sheets (MSDS)
• Calibrate non-powered application equipment
• Enter information on application records and into hazardous
• Substances/dangerous goods registers
• Participate in risk assessments
• Follow basic health and safety procedures
• Follow basic environmental safety procedures
