TITLE: “Challenges and opportunities of the Clean Energy Future package for SA and Local Government”
Adam Gray from the Local Government Association of SA delivered a presentation on the challenges and opportunities of the Clean Energy Future package for SA and Local Government. In September 2011, the Federal Government passed the Clean Energy Futures package of which one component was the carbon price amongst other measures in the Clean Energy Future Plan. This presentation outlined the likely impacts of the carbon price for State and Local Governments and the various opportunities the package presented.
